Learning through doing...
Growing by doing for others.

This Is Your Website!
This will be our new mode of communication for the year.  Check in here for upcoming events and meeting activities.  This is also the place to express yourself.  So, GET GOING!  Send me your poems or stories, prayer requests, or anything you want to share with your sister Girl Scouts.  Send your e-mail's to me at res407@bellsouth.net. Check back often to see what's coming up and what your fellow Girl Scouts are doing.

FAMILY CAMPAIGN TO BENEFIT OUR LOCAL GIRL SCOUT COUNCIL

Is your daughter enjoying the magic of Girl Scouting? Did you know that the $10 national membership dues you pay to join Girl Scouts each year goes directly to Girl Scouts of the USA for national program development? All the programs offered by Hornets' Nest Council and facilities owned and maintained by the council must be supported by a variety of other sources.

Because charitable giving is a personal decision, any gift that is meaningful to you is appreciated and extremely important in helping support girls in Hornets' Nest Council. If each girl's family in our council contributed $25, we would raise over $250,000 - think of the magic we could create with those additional resources!  If you and/or your spouse's company has a matching gift program, you can double the impact of your gift.

We also need every family to carry all the great things our girls do into the community to raise awareness.  The girls will again be receiving donation boxes for them to collect loose change like we did last year.  You can choose to do one donation or the other or both, it is totally up to you.

Please click here if you wish to make an online donation.  Please note DISTRICT MECK-5 on your donation:
